Kit Needed
• Grill pan
• Pastry brush
• Sauté pan
• Sharp knife
• Mixing bowl

Shopping List (serves 2)
• A good shake of GBB Bloody Mary Rub
• 2 dry aged rib eye steaks
• 4 tbsps of rapeseed oil
• A handful of washed watercress
• 6 red onions peeled & halved with root left in
• 4 tsps of balsamic vinegar



Method:


1. Heat your grill pan to a high temperature, and the sauté pan to a medium temperature.


2. Add the halved onions to the hot grill pan with a glug of oil, cook until soft, then add the balsamic vinegar.

3. Massage the Bloody Mary Rub into the rib eye steaks.

4. When the chargrill pan is hot enough, add the rib eye steaks for 3 minutes on each side for medium rare, or add 1 and a half minutes on each side for medium.

5. When the steak is cooked leave to rest for 3 minutes (or half the cook time), then slice on an angle and lay over the top of the washed watercress.
